Joining the RPI HASS Leadership Council
While my alma mater is best known for its schools of Engineering and Science- and indeed, I graduated with a Computer Science degree from the latter- it’s no secret which school was closest to my heart.
HASS, or the School of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences encompasses everything from GSAS (Games and Simulation Arts and Sciences) to Economics to the Arts Department. In my time at RPI, I found myself at West Hall more than Amos Eaton, and I came to love both the faculty and the programs offered. One of my few regrets from my time in college is that I graduated just before the music major program was complete. I had to settle for a minor.
It was a great honor and surprise when, just last month, I was invited to join the HASS Leadership Council! Dedicated to advancing the school of HASS through philanthropy, advisory, and alumni engagement, this council is a link back to my school and, in a way, to pay it forward, for all the great times I had at dear ol’ RPI.
